Tenants are responsible for training their employees, sublessees, contractors, etc on the LDEQ wash permit as needed.
Washing activities CAN be conducted at ANY location on the airport since LAC has a permit that covers washing activities.
Wash water discharged at the wash rack areas discharges directly to bayou vermillion or bayou tortue.
Soaps used at wash rack areas do NOT need to be reviewed by LAC prior to its use.
Tenants whose operations involve the use of LAC wash racks must submit the information requested on the Wash Rack Usage Information form to LAC at the end of each quarter.
Continuing to wash when discharges of oil, dirt, grass or other debris is observed is NOT a problem. Since this is ALLOWED by the LDEQ permit.
