Welcome to the Lafayette Regional Airport’s Title VI Annual Training. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and Section 520 of the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982 protect persons from discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or creed in programs and activities which receive federal financial assistance. The Lafayette Airport Commission, as administrator of the Lafayette Regional Airport, is a recipient of federal funds and is subject to these laws and their regulations, which are carried out through its Title VI Program.  

The Lafayette Airport Commission is required to provide training on the Title VI Program and its requirements.  

The training will cover the following:

• Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act
• Age Discrimination Act of 1975
• Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987
• Section 520 of the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982
• Limited English Proficiency, and
• Environmental Justice

Note: If you are a LFT airport tenant, your signature page is an acknowledgement that the Title VI Civil Rights Training has been completed by a manager and training has been completed with the company employees.
